The Board really have got themselves
Into a no win situation and it's difficult to have sympathy. Adams time is virtually up unless there's an amazing turnaround. This leaves them with one option - Phelan. Trouble is he'll now be tainted with Adams failure so unless he makes an immediate impact he'll be under pressure too.
