The criteria used to appoint Lambert and Hughton, changed completely over the summer

Why was that?

Some of the main things the board wanted with those appointments included:

1. Managed before
2. Managed in the same league
3. Ability to motivate players
4. Tactically astute
5. Currently in work as a manager

Why not use this criteria when appointing a manager in the summer?

Nobody is going to be a 100% successful but as a board at least be able to point to some reasons behind the appointment.
