I'd forgotten Walton and Woodthorpe played that game. We had some scratchy moments that season with Gunn and Fleck injured.

I think Rob Newman must be one of the most underrated players we've had. What a bargain he was, and having played for 10 years for Bristol City before us as well. Not only that he wore the largest pair of NCFC shorts I'd ever seen before John Hartson, in a reserve match towards the end of his career. The word legend is overused these days.
