Spiritually, they are the same club in the same way that AFC Wimbledon are the same club that won the FA Cup and many others too.

But technically, they aren't. In fact, BDO who are liquidating old Rangers recently forced the new lot to retract a statement claiming as such.

Anyway, the new lot are on the deathbed too.
