Of course the player who actually came back into the side in the first game of that 10 game run (as a sub just before Charlton scored) was Jonny Howson.

Not the first time Howson coming back from an injury and going back into the team has coincided with a slump in form if you look at the stats. It's strange because he's a good player but until he came back Tettey and Johnson were bossing the midfield and we've never been quite the same since.
