40's fine. Great, even.

Hated 30, really don't want to be 50 (few years but not many). But 20 and 40 both felt fine, somehow, and even 60 will be too, but somehow 70 won't be. I don't know why but the odd decades mark phase transitions in my mind and the even decades don't really matter.

If it sounds like I'm rambling because I'm pissed, well, no smoke without fire.
