I don't get why footballers bother with Twitter.

1. It's full of trolls hiding behind pseudonyms and monikers with the only intent of trying to abuse someone famous

2. Tweets get mis-interpreted resulting in grumpy footballers trying to explain themselves to the irate fans/press

3. A anything slightly controversial gets them in trouble.
