The poster made an example of clark carlisles story in the DM. Its running at the same time on the beeb virtually word for word. The poster was implying the DM was trying to imply itself something more sinister about the story -actually the DM makes no claim statement or even impies anything further imo connecting the drink driving charge to what happened - it just states a fact as far as i can see..... same as the beeb. Yet the DM is ridiculed by the poster for implying something sinister, where as its not. So i dont really get what you're asking or why tbh.
