Realisation we have basically screwed any chances of auto promotion already

Had we embarked on the sort of long unbeaten run we are capable of then there was still a chance but just can't see it now. We have good enough players but we have a poor, inexperienced manager who halfway through the season still doesn't know how to set up his best 11. No other manager in this country, with this squad, would send out that midfield. We have placed ourselves at a disadvantage from the outset this season by appointing Adams and he now continues to place us at a disadvantage by not playing our best attacking players in games against teams we are capable of beating. He has not learnt, he stumbled across a line up v Wigan that worked more by luck than judgement and now he is persisting with it when it does not work.
