The good doctor and the septugenarian down there vvv have reminded me of something

I meant to post yesterday. Well worth doing a Listen Again to PM last night off of Radio 4. A british surgeon who volunteers in areas of conflict (Gaza, Syria, etc) telling his tales of experiences in Syria. Heartbreaking stuff.

Not xmassy. In fact will utterly harsh your xmas mellow, but I think that's a good thing : no harm in being reminded, when we have it so so good, how life is for some other humans, not so far away.
