And within a couple of years bought their council houses, plus many other started small businesses which went on to be very successful. You probably dont remember 1979 pre-tory...... I do, strikes galore, rubbish piling up high on our streets, borrowing out of control, the country building a huge deficit, weak export, businesses folding. Theres a good reason the tories stayed in power so long after enough of labour.
