""I wouldn't say it was a terrorist attack. I would call it a deliberate act," French inte

ior ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet"

and

"Prosecutors made similar comments about Sunday's car attack in Dijon.

The driver was arrested after targeting pedestrians in five different parts of the city in the space of half an hour.

The city's prosecutor said the attacker had a long history of mental illness, and the incident was not linked to terrorism."

that's 2 direct quotes from the article Boris has linked to (or at least that's what they are at the moment of me posting this message, the Beeb have a habit of editing their web pages as news stories move on)

i don't care what your understanding is, or even my own understanding of it, neither of which is relevant to Boris's question.

My post was a smart alec response to Boris' question.

if you want to dispute whether it is terrorist related please go speak to Pierre-Henry or the Dijon prosecutor.
