He hasn't had a run in the team for ages. He has had inconsistent spells in the past but all players have loss of form and lets face it - Nigel Worthington is manager so obviously he has been played out of position. Maybe playing in a position more suited to the fact that he is a striker (i.e. up front) has done him some good.
