I would rather we were not in a position where we have to resort to that sort of line up to get a narrow win at a team as bad as that. I also don't want to see us starting without Redmond too often.
However, we are where we are and we needed that. As it turns out we needed it just to keep on the heels of the top 6 but we also just needed to stop the rot. A clean sheet will help the confidence of the team defensively and I thought Hooper showed some encouraging signs again. More than anything it just shows that no errors = win. Despite the questionable tactics and selections and the fact Adams is unconvincing in my view if we'd had a bit more luck and cut out the individual errors we would still be right up there. If Phelan can help sort that and get them concentrating then it may be that we can muddle through this little crisis and still target the top 2.
