You have to remember that his reputation was built on being an attacking full-back for Forest and he really hasn't had much of an extended run in this position for Norwich.

For him to be part of a 3 man midfield frankly represents him being played out of position.

Although having said that, in terms of Worthington's favourite attributes "effort" and "commitment", he probably hasn't delivered as much as other players.
