Yes I went when my sister was living there a long time ago.

I remember a very nice redeveloped harbour front but not much more. It was very easy to get to the museums in Washington from there though.

We also went to Philadelphia by train from there and that was a cool city to visit for the day.

How far away is Boston if you want the coast? We went whale watching from there.
