When I think about it, the name and composition suggests to me that it's doing the kind of longer-term football planning (what kind of style football we will play, how new recruits should fit into that etc) that is designed to outlast any particular manager.
Which essentially means that McNally is the Director of Football, doesn't it? In the same way that Liverpool, Spurs etc have tried the role.
Happy to told why I'm wrong on that. But can't see what else the 'Football Executive Board' does.
If I'm right - well, it is a bit odd the D McN is our Director of Football. Given his background, experience etc.
