He picked the ball up quite well, often, by dropping a bit deeper and getting the ball wide, quickly, mainly to Redmond.
But Tettey and Howson seemed to have far too much ground to cover. Lafferty and Redmond were hugging the sidelines and Reading just seemed to always have more bodies in that central area.
But too many sideways passes and simply giving the ball away far, far too often was the problem. Also, Ruddy had a shocker, aside from the first half save.
