was mcnally worth his ?1M package last season?

He said last spring that relegation would be worse than death but I bet his income was some consolation. Is it that difficult to hit financial targets last year when tv income shot up to ?70M? He has taken no responsibility for hughton's overly long stay or debacle over timing of sacking because everyone just blames the board.
