Not because I think it was the right choice, but I loved the idea of 'one of our own' having a chance to prove themselves as a manager. I rode the euphoria of the early week, like most people, thinking this management lark was all about some coaching badges and a lot of passion.
The last 2 months have shown that the Adams appointment was indeed a huge gamble that has 100%, categorically failed. After being a 'unknown quantity" in the first few weeks, our game plan was sussed out by opposition managers, meaning the only games we have won in recently was against an equally dire Fulham. Nothing is going to change with this manager in charge (the definition of insanity etc...).
If we don't make a change now, we will be in very serious danger or relegation, and then all the hard work over the last 5 years will have been for nothing.
