agree that bands are to be expected to change..

as they get older. Just my opinion that in most cases the loss of that youthful energy results in less interesting, "safer", music. Doesn't mean there's no place for it and it's invariably pleasant enough to listen to. It just isn't "great" any more (again, no disgrace, greatness by definition is rare and the exception to the norm). In my book both Oasis & U2 were undoubtedly great but aren't any more.
