I bl**dy well hope Mcnally has the same 40% wage cut in his contract.
What I think it really does show is how important it is to bounce back straight away as players will probably put up with it for a year but after that the lure of the higher wages on offer elsewhere will prove too much for quite a few of them.
Whichever way you dress it up obtaining promotion this season appears to be key. Which brings us back to the wisdom of the decision to appoint Adams.......
On that note i'm going to stop ranting for a bit and see how this whole Phelan thing works out. I think the Adams appointment was ridiculous and I think he should have been sacked already but with the tone of the AGM and the Phelan appointment we are where we are and it seems he is around for a while yet. We just need to get wins now however we do it. If that means propping up a manager whose out of his depth with an experienced coach then so be it.
