Buckingham Palace is only open for a few weeks per year

When we went it was in the summer; and we couldn't get a booking on the day we needed so we went to the Royal Mews. Took a couple of hours to go around but we were lucky and there was a guide who did a tour for us. I really enjoyed it. There were some Diana things there (my cousins loved that!)

Not been up the Shard so cannot compare to the London Eye.
