Lambert a complete fluke??? McNally sacked Gunn and sought of Paul Lambert

Lambert was identified as the club's first choice, despite being "not available" and he was pursued to the extent we were heavy criticised for how we approached him (and finned if my memory is right???).

Hardly a fluke.
