As you've said - you think people should deliver more because you think that money is worth more.

That's money in football, imo. Nothing else. Apply that to the value of paying a Sky subscription, the value of a Chief Exec, the value of a s**t striker sitting on a bench all season for ?2m a year.

He's got 'punished' for failure, to the tune of 30%. Because we can't relate (I'm taking a leap and assuming that like me, you're not on his type of money!) to the actual sums involved. For me ?1.5m to keep us up is as equally obscene as ?1.1 for taking us down. No more, no less.

I'm not going to keep banging on about it - I've made my point and can see where you're coming from as well - I just don't think it's the right argument (in my humble opinion).
