Think the board have put themselves in a tough position

"Scouting Europe" for the best manager then hiring someone who is useless, they'd have to admit they were wrong (Which is funny as all the outside Norwich football experts said we were in a good position to go up BECAUSE we'd kept our manager while Fulham and Cardiff had got rid of theirs.

Hiring Phelan though really makes it difficult, either Adams hired him and when Adams goes the new guy will want his own people (having to fire a new employee with a month or two - Adams was a cheap option but with the pay outs we'll have to give to all the scapegoats it will cost a fortune) or Phelan takes over and the board have undermined Adams by hiring someone he doesn't want, making results even more difficult (if this is what Adams believes/knows) which adds tension and a power struggle behind the scenes, and giving Adams less authority over the players.

Wasn't Robson sacked for undermining Adams? Which says to me that either Phelan has been hired by Adams as a yes man with no power or the board have hired him to undermine Adams.

Made sense in my head anyway - Just don't know why it made sense in the boards head.

It was a long way round to saying we are f**ked with muppets in charge of the team and club!
