the Criminal Case Review Commission has only ever referred about 3% of cases to appeal and less than 1% of cases referred to the CCRC have ever led to a successful appeal. Less than 1%. It's obfuscation at best to suggest that his guilt is seriously in doubt.

And even if he does someone manage to convince an appeal court that he's technically innocent of rape, the fact remains that he still took advantage of a hopelessly inebriated woman. The line between that and rape is so wafer thin as to make any moral distinction rather academic.
