Ashton must stay in Jan and here's why....

..... I agree that with the Ashton money we could probably buy a right winger and replacement striker and maybe one other who between them could add to the strength of the squad and get us in the playoffs (and possibly promoted). However, in the prem you need a quality striker. If we went up we would need an Ashton!! So, what is the point of selling him.

Also, I don't think he needs to progress his career in Jan. It will do him no harm to wait until the summer to move if we don't go up. He is only 22 and its not like he is going to make the world cup squad.
