then why isn't it long enough to represent that country? How long would be enough? For me, Costa is at least as entitled to represent Spain as Martin is to represent Scotland. Martin only chose Scotland - a country he has never lived in - because he was never going to get a cap for England. Costa had the choice to get in the team of either Brazil or Spain last year, and he chose Spain.
