Sorry, there's no gender issue with the naming of the stand

The issue I had (and many others by the sound of it) was naming a stand after someone who had nothing to do with football. Pure bandwagon jumping after the Olympics.

The gender issue now is that she is a leading female role model and it is hardly a surprised that she has taken a stand in an increasing polarised and fraught debate about thee future employment of a convicted rapist.
