Replying to my own post as I hit the wrong key -

Burnley looked very one dimensional, but still managed to create a few chances. Ade Panicbuy did not do a great deal, thanks to a top performance fron the Doc. Defensive gold stars to Flem & Drury for some great tackles & interception.

Midfield plus points as usual all to Safri who was imperious, and bossed the game. Nicely taken goal from Charlie who looked neat and tidy alongside King Youssef, but I think that even I could have a decent game playing alongside the maestro.

Attacking plus points to Hux, with a fab goal, but on the minus side, he was wasteful with other chances. Deano lead the line well, and we love you Paul McVeigh, my choice for MoM, was excellent again.

Minus points for Colin who still does not impress me and Robinson who should have done more against the non-existent Burnley midfield.

Shame about their goal - we should have been well clear, but a s**t deflection gave them an undeserved chance to get back in the game, and then it got a little nervy.

Ben's posts are a little strange - I thought we played well in the first half of the second half & should have killed the game but some poor decision making from the players (not the idiot in charge) made the last few minutes a little closer than they should have been.

From my view in the Barclay I did not see NW waving or shouting to the players, so I can't comment on that.

Other points - did anyone see that two-footed studs upn tackle from Panicbuy at the end? Can't remember who was the intended recipient of that, but it looked horrible.
