I did actually quite like your Linger/Lingus gag.

I think the best bit was whoever the halfwit was that was explaining that getting a new coach and then doing better would show that Adams is rubbish, getting a new coach and not then doing better would show that Adams is rubbish, and not getting a new coach would show that Adams is rubbish.
