Absolutely horrific football at Stoke. Stone age stuff. Like watching a cross between rugby league and American football, with added thuggery and intimidation thrown in for good measure.
Far, far better football than most seemed to appreciate at Palace. The job he did there was astounding: Lambert-esque, and the symbiosis he achieved with their fans pretty remarkable too.
But... while he and Delia get on famously (or so it's often been said), Tony Pulis doesn't 'fit' Norwich City at all. At all! It wouldn't work; I think it'd be a disaster actually. So no thanks.
I'd be going after Eddie Howe and making him an offer he couldn't refuse; but failing that, I'd be doing the unthinkable. And trying to get Lambert back. Yes yes, him and the board are at daggers drawn - but he'll have nowhere else to go when Villa inevitably sack him, and they desperately need to regain the fans' faith and the feelgood factor we had under PL.
So it's time for both parties to bury the hatchet, I'd say.
