don't know, but perhaps his injury this season was partly a result

of not playing at all during pre-season.

He played 57 games for us in two years, and would have played another 5 if Adams hadn't dropped him - that doesn't strike me as especially injury prone.

And if he was playing with an injury most of last year, then we played better with an injured Bassong than with any other defensive combination.
