Live in Lincoln.
The first half was fine, excellent goal, lots of good, if slow, passing movement.
Pearce sent them out in the second half to make sure that we never settled on the ball, and it worked. The double substitution half way through the second half pushed the tempo further and they started to look dangerous. We couldn't exploit the gaps at the back because we had no pace.
It was obvious to 2,000 of us (and all of them) that hanging on to a one-goal lead was an unlikely outcome, but that's what we tried to do. Lafferty for Jerome was fair enough but we had nothing down the wings and what did get into the box got there before anyone could catch up with it.
The best opportunity of the half fell to Johnson, but he found a different river to put it in.
Forest deserved the win, but I expect to be back here for this fixture, in this league, next season because neither of these teams look like challengers.
I'm not an Adams outer, but he needs to explain why he tried to hold on to a shape that they clearly had the measure of for all of the second half.
The omens don't look good and the body language of the players showed it in the last 10 mins (Turner, Howson and Lafferty aside).
