I was 12

was on the Colmans coach with some friends, My Dad was already there he stayed over in the Wembley Hilton. He brought me a ?20 Ticket seated which he assures me was a lot of money at the time and I was NOT to tell my Mum!

I remember the Bus being absolutely full of booze, all the adults getting hammered on the way there. I remember the journey taking what seemed a million years, seeing the Sunderland coaches as we got closer to Wembley.

Wembley way was amazing just a sea of Yellow, green, red and white. The atmosphere was unbelieveable, both sets of fans were so loud I'd never heard OTBC ever sung so loudly.

After the game I rememeber the shaking of hands and the swapping of scarves. This was unheard of in 1985. It certainly felt strange shaking hands with oposition fans.

My dad brought me a flag and yes I still have it and take it too the odd game.

On the way home I remember seeing a small lorry with its back doors open was full of Norwich fans on their way home back up the A11.

Good memories, certainly better personal memories the the 2 semi finals I went to against Ipswich.
