Help...

I know next to nothing about computers but i keep getting a pop up saying my computer's infected and 'dangerous malware infection was detected'. I ran spybot which found nothing and I've run some adware programme too but i still keep getting the pop up. If anyone understood that and could help it'd be much appreciated, cheers
