Good question and one of the main reasons relegated sides don't get back up

The players know they will go from playing 46 games a season to 4 or 5 in the Prem.

It must be a factor in motivating players. Sides like Derby and Boro are far hungrier than us.

I don't think a new manager is necessarily going to change that.
