Do nasty bastards make better managers?

I mean those that players fear and respect? I think probably so in the majority of cases. Mourihno, Allerdyce, Pulis, all fearsome. Ferguson uber frightening. Bond, Saunders and Lambert the same. Nice guys? Ken Brown, Dave Stringer (my favourite era as it happens) who remembered he was a Nice Guy and stood down, Hughton; all seemed to struggle with the players eventually. Has Neil got a nasty side? My nasty list wouldn't tolerate a performance like tonight and their players would know that, there'd be a reaction.

By the way, Roeder not included as nasty as was just a t**t everyone disliked.
