The problem is that with very few exceptions our players seem to be getting worse

if you don't address these sort of slumps they can get out of hand. As it stands if we could get this lot sharp and motivated we are still in a position to get promoted but I can't recall a single 90 minutes this season where we have performed at a high level. Yes we've had bursts which have got us out of trouble a few times but they've been masking cracks.
