Good luck with the boiler - top tip - DON'T LET THEM FIT A COMPLEX CONTROL SYSTEM. When we did this house I didn't pay attention to the boiler spec (it's a boiler, right? What can go wrong?) and ended up with a super-whizzy never touch it ultra intelligent self-regulatory piece of pens genius which was state of the art space station tastic.

After a couple of years I discovered our gas bill was ?400 a month and that the bastard thing never, ever turned itself off. And that there was no manual over ride and that there was no way to run the HW separately from the CH.

I am now half way through spending ??? on ripping it out and putting in a conventional control system ... back to the future
