he does have good moments in most games

but because his passing and technique are quite poor - and because he is so one-footed - it's very difficult to control midfield against decent teams when he plays.

He often needs to take several touches to get the ball onto his left foot; by the time he has done that the opposition are much tighter so we have fewer passing options and he ends up getting pressured and giving possession away.
