Thanks. The more I think of it, i quite like the vga idea....

I have a spare vga lead. All three of my hdmi slots are full at present. So would mean less faffing about with the vga, and it's a few quid cheaper, and as I already have the spare lead I don't need to buy one. Not that any of it will break the bank lol, but look after the pennies and all that.

I'll do a bit more research.
