you really couldn't be more wrong. they are super hygienic, a doddle to keep clean, instantaneous superfast heat.

i doubt if most of the people trumpeting on about gas hobs have owned an induction one which makes their trumpet noises a bit hollow.

gas hobs are the s**ts to keep clean. induction ones you just wipe over with a bit of kitchen paper and its as good as new.
