Apparently being determined to put a positive spin on everything they do (you never do this for City) despite the fact that they have played mind-numbingly boring and generally hopeless football for over 2 years now and which seems to be getting even worse (this is to judge from the comments of Villa fans, who have the misfortune to watch them far more than I do).
