Whilst I think Neil Adams is

doing a reasonable job, given that he is, necessarily, still learning the skills of management, I wonder whether the Board have any kind of plan if things continue to go wrong.

It's been widely acknowledged that this season offers our best chance of promotion so we can't afford to slip too much. It's good news that the inconsistency of rivals is keeping us in touch despite recent failings.

I have said before that I think the Board went cheap and a few weeks ago probably thought they'd got lucky but it's a cruel league and a manager who picks favourites regardless of form (Johnson, Martin, Whitaker), plays people out of position (Martin), makes signings but doesn't trust them to play and keeps recognising the same failings without correcting them is unlikely to get us out of it.

This is not blubbing but realism. It's worrying that with our squad ( including internationals like Lafferty, Tettey, Hoolahan, Olsson etc) we are unable to beat teams full of nobodies and when you look at the progress of the likes of Bournemouth it makes you realise what a really good manager can do.

So (puts tin hat on) I can see some sense in what the Bigfeller posted last week about still being 'little Norwich'. It is hard to deny that the style of the Adams appointment was classic Norwich of the past.
