I give a damn because when they come good, people like you come accross as

idiots for being myopic towards young players when they need all the encouragement they can get

And when they come good, it doesn't actually wash when people claim they weren't good enough at the time, but are now. They've always been good enough, they just need the 12th man and self belief to carry it through

That's why I give/gave a damn. It shows an inherent negativity in fans, and it does nothing for any team
