What outside source??

I'm asking a question not looking for fellow wrathers to ridicule an opinion I've expressed. If I'm typing utter s**te then put me in my place. Many footballers are like big children; needing arms round shoulders, rollickings, ego boosts and all that s**te which is part of management in all different types of work including professional football. We currently have one of the best, if not, the best squad on paper yet we only have one win in seven matches. Some managers are able to get more out of a group of so-called lesser players because they have an ability to inspire. Your thoughts?
