Scum also progressed in that time with higher gates than us and a far better team and set-up all-round. It is to Worthington's credit he gave the club some good times again that in turn led to us getting bigger gates and a promotion to the premier league. Of course it went tits up again and Worthington is not blameless in that. 2005 - 2009 was also dreadful but not as bad as the nineties as at least we had crowds still coming to matches.
