The Board didn't go for an off the shelf 'successful' manager, it went for one who was inexperienced but had the capability and who, in time, would gain the experience that would make the most of that capability. That's what's happening. We need to give him that time. He made changes tonight, and it was the right choice to do so. It didn't work as well as we - and he - hoped. More to learn. We have a good squad, which will be deployed carefully and thoughtfully - not just as a reaction to the game before. We are four points off top. I'd have taken that at the start of the season, and so would most of us. So it's a bit frustrating, but hardly disaster. If we are in the same place at Christmas we will have everything to go for. If not, than we will probably need to spend some more. Right now, it's nothing to lose sleep over.
